Noni Health Benefits

The noni plant, native to Asia, Australia, and the islands of Polynesia, is a small, shrubby tree. Noni fruit, leaves, flowers, stems, bark, and roots are still used to make medicine for a long list of ailments.

Historically, noni was used to make a red or yellow dye for clothing. It was also used as medicine, usually applied to the skin.

Noni is sometimes applied to the skin. It is used as a moisturizer and to reduce signs of aging.

The leaves are used for arthritis by wrapping around the affected joint; for headache by applying to the forehead; and for burns, sores, and wounds by direct application.

Noni has traditionally been used for colds, flu, diabetes, anxiety, and high blood pressure, as well as for depression and anxiety.

Selenium is an important anti-oxidant and trace element found in Noni juice that preserves the skin’s elasticity, thus slowing the aging process.

Selenium also increases oxygen flow to the heart and may prevent blood clotting and hypertension. Noni juice can help with high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke.

Some scientists believe that Xeronine can help promote a healthy cell structure within the circulatory system. Noni juice can also lessen the symptoms of heart disease.

Noni juice boosts the overall immune system of the body and helps to maintain optimal health.

Noni may help modulate a healthy immune system by either enhancing an already functioning system, by stimulating the components of a sluggish one, or by decreasing an overactive immune system.

Noni’s properties are useful on skin and scalp conditions, such as eczema and ringworm; also rubbed on scalp for lustrous hair; and will keep your skin young.

Just rub some juice on affected skin or scalp, leave on for 15 minutes, rinse off. Ingestion of juice may help your nails to grow stronger.

Noni is high in soluble fiber, which helps ease the strain on your intestines and softens stool. Also have necessary vitamins and minerals to keep your intestines healthy.
